How FoodVerix handles deviations and corrective actions

An out-of-limit check should start a documented decision process. FoodVerix helps keep the original result visible and connect the response, supporting evidence, and required human review.

A controlled response path

  1. Record the observed result and document the immediate correction without replacing the original entry.
  2. Have an authorized person assess potential product impact and determine whether a hold, disposition, or release decision is needed.
  3. Escalate to maintenance when equipment contributed, or use CAPA for serious, recurring, or systemic causes.
  4. Document the cause, preventive action, and supporting evidence.
  5. Have an authorized reviewer verify the response and its effectiveness before closure when required.

Human decisions remain in control

FoodVerix routes and preserves the work. It does not automatically place product on hold, decide product disposition, release product, approve a corrective action, or determine regulatory compliance. Those decisions remain with authorized personnel at the business.
